Watering Sod or Seed

The watering must be started immediately after installation. It is important that you thoroughly soak the sod and the soil. Pay special attention to corners and edges, they tend to dry out sooner. This may require hand watering of these areas. Keep the sod watered well for the first 2 weeks. You may slow the watering to three times a week. Begin mowing in about two weeks and make sure your mower blades are sharpened on a regular basis. A dull blade will give a ragged cut. Fertilizer should begin after 30 days, weed and feed after 90 days.

Fertilizer

Trees and shrubs are fertilized by us when planted. Fertilization should be done by the customer in early April and early September. Fertilize annual flowers, perennials, and ground cover, spring through late June. Lawns should be fertilized at the following times: approximately early April, late May, early June, early September, and late October. This will ensure a healthy lawn.

Trees & Shrubs

Newly planted trees and shrubs must be watered daily for the first week, every other day for the second week, and two times per week the third week. In hot, dry weather, more water may be needed. However, in cool weather, less water is required. Water each plant for 3 minutes. Newly staked trees should remain staked for 12 months. This allows trees to take root.

Warranty Policy

All trees and shrubs planted by Landscapes and More, Inc. are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of the installation. Plant material has been inspected and certified before and during the planting process. Care has been exercised by us to ensure proper planting procedures have been followed. We make you, the customer, aware of conditions which will void this warranty.

Material damaged by animals
Acts of vandalism
Insect infestation
Lack of water or maintenance
